Building Water Tank Supply in Dubai

How do small buildings in Dubai get water during an outage?

When a building's supply fails, a water tanker refills the main building tank so residents keep running water. Dubai Water Tankers supplies small buildings and owners' associations across Dubai with sweet water in 2,500-gallon loads, adding trips or 5,000–10,000-gallon partner tankers for larger tanks, with rates agreed in advance for managers.

  • Refills the building's main tank during DEWA outages and low pressure
  • Planned refills after tank cleaning, so flats are never dry
  • Pre-agreed rates and priority for facility managers and OAs
  • Every delivery logged with a reference for service-charge records

What changes the price

How the delivery works

  1. 01Building management sends the building name, tank capacity and access point.
  2. 02We confirm the number of loads, the schedule and the total price.
  3. 03Tankers fill the main tank through its inlet, one load after another.
  4. 04You receive a delivery record for the service-charge file.

What we need from you

  • Tank capacity and current level (the building's watchman usually knows)
  • Where the inlet is — ground level, basement or a service road
  • A contact on site to open gates and the tank room

When buildings call for a tanker

  • Supply interruptions — a DEWA fault or planned network work.
  • Low pressure — the building tank can’t keep up with morning demand.
  • Tank cleaning and disinfection — the tank is drained and needs refilling quickly.
  • Handover — a new building waiting for its permanent connection.

Working with facility managers

Outages rarely come with warning. An arrangement agreed in advance — per-load rates, a named contact, priority dispatch — means your team approves a refill with one message instead of negotiating while residents wait. See facility managers.

Frequently asked questions

Can tenants order a tanker for their building?
The tanker fills the building's main tank, so building management or the owners' association normally orders it. Tenants can message us and we will coordinate with management.
How many loads does a building need?
Divide the tank capacity (minus what is left inside) by 2,500 gallons. A building with a 10,000-gallon tank that is empty needs four loads, or one 10,000-gallon partner tanker.
Can we agree rates before an outage happens?
Yes. Facility managers and owners' associations can agree per-load rates and priority dispatch in advance, so an outage only takes one message to approve. See the facility managers page.
Do you refill after the building tank is cleaned?
Yes. Give us the cleaning schedule and we deliver as soon as the cleaners finish, so residents are only without water for the shortest time.
What happens if many buildings nearby need water at once?
During a wide outage, demand spikes. Buildings with a pre-agreed arrangement are served first, which is why managers set one up before they need it.
