How to Order a Water Tanker in Dubai (and What to Tell Them)

By the Dubai Water Tankers team · Published · Updated

How do I order a water tanker in Dubai?

Send the supplier six things: your exact location as a map pin, sweet or salt water, the quantity in gallons, where the tank inlet is, any gate or access rules, and when you need it. With Dubai Water Tankers you send these on WhatsApp, get one fixed delivered price within about 10 minutes, confirm, and the truck is dispatched.

  • Send a map pin, not just an area name
  • Say sweet or salt, and gallons
  • Describe the tank inlet and access
  • Confirm a fixed delivered price before dispatch

Need water now? Send your area and quantity — we reply with a fixed price.

The six details to send

Most delays and wasted trips come from missing details. Send these in your first message:

  1. Location pin. Share your live or current location from WhatsApp or Google Maps. Community names cover large areas, and villa numbers aren’t always on navigation apps.
  2. Water type. Sweet water for homes, pools and concrete; salt water only for site compaction and dust. Not sure? See sweet, salt and TSE water.
  3. Quantity. In gallons if you know it, or your tank size. If you don’t, say “villa underground tank, empty” and we’ll suggest a load. See which tanker size.
  4. Where the tank is. Underground in the garden, by the gate, on a site, at the back of a building. Mention if the hose has to go through the house or over a wall.
  5. Access. Gate pass needed? Community truck hours? Height limits? See gated communities and water tankers.
  6. Timing. “Now”, “before 9 am tomorrow” or “every Monday”.

A message that works

Sweet water, 2,500 gallons, villa underground tank (empty), inlet by the side gate. Arabian Ranches, villa 123 [location pin]. Security needs the driver’s name. Today before 5 pm.

What happens next

  1. We reply with a fixed delivered price and the expected arrival time, usually within about 10 minutes, 24/7.
  2. You confirm, and the truck is dispatched.
  3. The driver calls when close, so someone can open the gate.
  4. Delivery. The driver connects the hose and fills the tank. Filling time depends on the hose run and the tank inlet.
  5. Payment: cash or bank transfer.

On delivery day

  • Be reachable. Most missed deliveries are a phone that wasn’t answered at the gate.
  • Clear the way. Move cars from the driveway and open the tank cover if you can do it safely.
  • Switch off the pump if the tank was empty, and turn it back on after filling.
  • Watch the tank. Tell the driver to stop if it’s about to overflow.

Timing in Dubai

We give a realistic arrival time, typically about an hour. Heavy-vehicle restrictions apply on some roads and in some areas at certain hours, which can mean a longer route. See why tanker delivery times change.

Ordering regularly?

If you need water every day or week (a site, camp, car wash or villa awaiting connection), set up a fixed schedule instead of ordering each time. See monthly water supply.

Ready? Use the order page, or message us on WhatsApp. In an emergency, see emergency water tanker.
